Adults with Epilepsy are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Montefiore Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Have a confirmed diagnosis (that meets the standards of the study doctor)
• Are able to comply with maintaining an accurate Seizure and antiepileptic drug diary

You may not participate in this study if you:

• Are a female who is pregnant or breast feeding
• Have a history of bone marrow depression
• Have had or currently have abused drugs or alcohol within the past year
