KBP – Parexel – 260868 Study for Hypertension Arterial

People with Uncontrolled Hypertension Who Have Moderate or Severe (Stage 3b/4) Chronic Kidney Disease are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are a male or female at least 18 years of age
• Have uncontrolled hypertension
• Have Stage 3b (eGFR ≥30 and ≤44 mL/min/1.73 m2) or Stage 4 (eGFR≥15 and <30 mL/min/1.73 m2) CKD You may NOT participate in this study if you: • Have a history of major cardiac, cerebral, and/or carotid artery diseases • Have a history of clinically significant arrhythmia • Have a history of cardiac transplant, or is on a heart transplant list, or has a left ventricular assistance device • Have a history of Addison’s disease • Have a history of gastrointestinal surgery • Have a history of known or suspected allergy or intolerance to KBP-5074 • Are pregnant or breastfeeding Contact Information Cynthia Rivera, Study Coordinator Phone: (718) 430-3088 Email: CYNTHIA.RIVERA@EINSTEINMED.ORG 21-02-396
