Metastatic Breast Cancer

People with metastatic breast cancer are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Queens Hospital Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are at least ≥ 18 years of age
• Have radiologically evaluable disease
• Have adequate bone marrow, hepatic, renal and coagulation function
• Have histologically or cytologically confirmed diagnosis of metastatic or locally advanced breast cancer
• Have confirmed diagnosis of estrogen receptor positive and/or progesterone receptor positive

You may not participate in this study if you:

• Have a history of malignancies other than adequately treated non-melanoma skin cancer
• Have more than one prior treatment with chemotherapy for advanced disease
• Have more than 2 lines of prior endocrine therapy treatment
• Have gastrointestinal tract disease
• Have type 1 diabetes or uncontrolled type 2 diabetes
• Have a history of clinically significant cardiovascular abnormalities
• Have a history of drug induced pneumonitis or interstitial lung disease
• Are known to be positive for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B, or C
• Are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to become pregnant
