Nontuberculous Mycobacterial (NTM) Pulmonary Disease

People with Nontuberculous Mycobacterial (NTM) pulmonary disease caused by Mycobacterium abscessus Complex (MABc) are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by the Montefiore Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are diagnosed with Nontuberculous Mycobacterial pulmonary disease caused by MABc
• Have at least 1 positive pulmonary culture for MABc in the 6 months prior to Screening and 1 positive culture at Screening
• Have radiographic evidence of MABc infection via computed tomography (CT) scan of the chest within 3 months prior to Screening

You may not participate in this study if you:

• Have received antibiotic treatment within 6 months prior to screening For MABc or MAC
• Have received systemic or inhaled antibiotic therapy within 4 weeks prior to screening
• Have active pulmonary malignancy or any type of malignancy requiring chemotherapy or radiation within 1 year prior to screening
• Have active pulmonary tuberculosis
• Have a history of lung transplantation
• Have Cystic fibrosis
• Have radiologic evidence of cavitary disease
• Have been previously treated with omadacycline
• Have a history of hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to tetracycline
