Parkinson’s disease

People with early Parkinson’s disease are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are at least ≥ 40 and ≤ 85 years of age
• Have a diagnosis of idiopathic PD

You may not participate in this study if you:

• Have a history of a psychiatric disorder
• Have a history of a seizure disorder
• Have an uncontrolled Type-1 or Type-2 diabetes
• Have clinically significant renal or hepatic impairment
• Have a malignant tumor within the past year
• Have learning disability or developmental delay
• Have alcohol / substance use disorder, moderate to severe, within 5 years
• Are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to become pregnant
