Parkinson’s Disease

People with Parkinson’s Disease are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are at least ≥18 and ≤85 years of age
• Have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (PD)

You may not participate in this study if you:

• Have a history or prior diagnosis of dementia
• Are receiving deep brain stimulation therapy
• Are treated with a pump for continuous delivery of dopamine replacement therapy
• Have received MRI guided high intensity focused ultrasound within the past 12 months
• Have experienced a myocardial infarction, angina or stroke within the past 12 months or a transient ischemic attack (TIA) within 6 months
• Are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to become pregnant during study
