Parkinson’s Disease

People with Parkinson’s disease are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are at least ≥ 30 to ≤80 years of age
• Are clinically diagnosed with PD
• Have ability to communicate

You may not participate in this study if you:

• Have clinically significant neurological disorder other than PD
• Have clinical evidence of atypical parkinsonism
• Have participated or currently participating in a gene therapy trial for PD
• Have a history of brain surgical intervention for PD
• Have hospitalized for any reason during the 4 weeks before screening
• Have current or history of clinically significant cardiovascular disease
• Have a history of drug or alcohol abuse within the past 5 years
• Have a history of, or ongoing, malignant disease
• Are known to be positive for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B, or C
• Are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to become pregnant
