Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Heck

People with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Heck (SCCHN) are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by the Montefiore Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are at least ≥ 18 years of age
• Have adequate renal, hematologic, and hepatic function
• Have histologically confirmed squamous cell carcinoma of Head and Neck (SCCHN)

You may not participate in this study if you:

• Have any uncontrolled disease state other than SCCHN
• Have known gastrointestinal disorder
• Have an active inflammatory disease
• Have a non-compensated or symptomatic liver cirrhosis
• Have a history of another malignancy prior to randomization
• Have clinically significant cardiovascular diseases, or pulmonary disease
• Have an active gastrointestinal bleeding, or any other uncontrolled bleeding
• Have organ transplantation, including allogeneic stem cell transplantation prior to study
• Have an active immunodeficiency or receiving ongoing immunosuppressive therapy
• Have participated in any interventional clinical study within 28 days
• Are known to be positive for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B, or C
• Are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to become pregnant
